Kinetic Privacy Policy Effective July 6, 2026 Overview Kinetic is a calisthenics training and social fitness app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Kinetic, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. Information we collect We collect information you provide or create in the app, including your email address, username, display name, avatar, profile settings, onboarding answers, training goals, equipment preferences, skill tree progress, workout and quest activity, leaderboard activity, friend relationships, messages, reports, support requests, and photos, videos, or audio you choose to upload or record. Account, subscription, and purchase information Kinetic uses authentication providers to create and secure your account. If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Apple or Google and we do not receive your payment card or bank account details. We may receive and store subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal state, and purchase-related identifiers from RevenueCat so we can provide paid features, restore purchases, and manage access. Photos, videos, audio, and user content Kinetic may collect photos, videos, and audio only when you choose to record, upload, or send them. This includes profile avatars, chat media, event submissions, and skill verification clips. Skill verification clips may be reviewed by Kinetic administrators or reviewers for safety, moderation, and verification decisions. Camera, microphone, gallery, and location Kinetic asks for camera and microphone access only when you record skill clips or media. Kinetic asks for photo or video library access only when you choose media from your gallery. Kinetic does not request location access and does not collect precise location or location metadata. Device, notification, analytics, and diagnostic data We may collect device and app information such as platform, app version, environment, anonymous analytics identifiers, account identifiers, push notification tokens, notification preferences, app launches, screen views, taps, feature usage, session duration, technical logs, and error or performance information. We use this information to operate Kinetic, deliver notifications, understand product usage, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. How we use information We use information to authenticate accounts, save progress, provide training, subscriptions, social features, messaging, leaderboards, events, verification, notifications, moderation, safety tools, customer support, analytics, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and app operations. Service providers and sharing We use service providers to run Kinetic, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend infrastructure; Expo for app services and notifications; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management; PostHog for product analytics; and Apple or Google for app distribution and in-app purchases. These providers may process information for us under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not sell personal information and we do not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Public and social features Some information may be visible to other users depending on your settings and actions, such as username, display name, avatar, profile information, leaderboard ranking, verification status, public progress, event submissions, messages sent to other users, and social interactions. You can use privacy settings in the app where available. Legal bases and international processing Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, with your consent, to protect legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, and to comply with legal obligations. Kinetic and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Security We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Retention and deletion We keep account data, progress, messages, reports, subscription records, analytics, and uploaded media while your account is active or as needed to operate, secure, and improve Kinetic. You can delete your account from Settings. Account deletion requests deletion of your account and associated app data, except where limited retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate business operations. Deleting your Kinetic account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through Apple or Google. Your controls You can sign out, edit your profile, make your profile private where available, manage notification preferences, choose whether to grant camera, microphone, photo library, and notification permissions, report or block user content, manage subscriptions through Apple or Google, and request account deletion from Settings. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help with privacy questions. Children Kinetic is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Kinetic, contact us so we can review and delete the information where required. Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy as Kinetic changes or as legal, operational, or security requirements evolve.
